What is your brand’s visual language?

I hear so often from potential clients that they either aren’t ready to hire someone to work on a logo for them, or they waited so long because they felt they simply couldn’t give someone the right direction to achieve the results they wanted. Because they simply didn’t know what it was that they wanted!

If you fall into this category, hear this next statement loud and clear….

You are not alone!!

There is a big misconception that you need to know the perfect answers to the questions that a graphic designer asks before you hire them to work on your brand/logo. While I believe a great designer should walk you through finding out the answers to those questions, I often run into people who are too afraid to raise their hand and simply say, “I just don’t know.”

Side note: Why is this?

Answer: It is because by saying that you don’t know, you feel that you aren’t a legit business owner, right? If you just knew what you were doing/what you wanted then no one would find out that you are just figuring things out, right? Hint, we are all in the same boat sister!

I want you to know that I hear you! I know what it feels like to need some direction to find out what it is that your brand should truly represent. So I did something fun! I put together a little quiz for you to find out your brand’s style.

Who is this for?

  • Newbies who don’t even have a business name yet.
  • Business owners who have DIY’d their own branding up to this point.
  • Seasoned pros who just want to check to see if they are on track.

Stop guessing and start narrowing down what your brand’s visual language is!
