A few years ago, I started working with an amazing life coach who helped me see several things I was doing in my life that held me back from my goals. We worked on time management, pricing for services, plans for business growth, self-care routines and more. During one of our last sessions of the year, she handed me a piece of paper.
You guys, I am NOT a cryer. It takes a lot to bring me to tears and here I was in the Barnes and Noble Starbucks crying my eyes out.
On this piece of paper, she had written down everything I had accomplished in that year. Some things were big, some were small, but in the end they all were meaningful. As someone who is constantly looking for the next big goal to tackle in my life, it was incredibly powerful to see on paper what I HAD accomplished.
So friend, it’s time for you to do this for yourself. I know starting with a blank page is hard so we’ve given you some prompts to get you started. However, feel free to let your accomplishments fill the margins, the back of the page or take this exercise to a notebook or journal. YOU deserve to be proud for the things you have done, big or small. Celebrate your wins!
